TPB Access for All Advisory Committee
The Access for All Advisory Committee (AFA) advises the Transportation Planning Board (TPB) on transportation issues, programs, policies, and services important to traditionally underserved communities, including low-income communities, underrepresented communities, people with limited English proficiency, people with disabilities, and older adults. The committee identifies issues of concern in order to determine whether and how these issues might be addressed within the TPB process.
Recruitment Period Now Open. TPB is accepting applications for the AFA from now until Monday, April 14.

The AFA typically meets five times a year. Meetings are held in a virtual-only or hybrid format. Hybrid meetings include an in-person option held at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments office and a virtual format.
Committee meetings are open for members of the public to watch and listen. Public feedback should be directed to the TPB’s monthly board meeting. Learn more about submitting your comments on the TPB Comment Form webpage.

Membership
The committee membership is composed of community leaders from around the region affiliated with organizations that serve the interests of traditionally underserved communities, or function as a liaison with another committee or group, including representatives of nonprofit groups and other advisory committees. Ex-Officio members work for a state or local agency, a transit provider, or are a private provider of transportation services.
