COG's podcast, Think Regionally, raises awareness about metropolitan Washington's biggest challenges and focuses on solutions. The podcast, which is hosted by former Washington Post columnist Robert McCartney, features local government, business, and non-profit leaders talking about a variety of timely topics, including the region's economy, racial equity, transportation, housing, and climate change.

    Statement by Adam Ortiz on the Anacostia River Report Card

    After years of regional collaboration, the Anacostia River received its first “passing grade” on the annual “State of the Anacostia River Report Card.” The report card issued by the Anacostia Watershed Society uses several factors to measure watershed improvements. Anacostia Watershed Restoration Partnership Chairman Adam Ortiz spoke to the report card results.
