The podcast, which is hosted by former Washington Post columnist Robert McCartney, features local government, business, and non-profit leaders talking about a variety of timely topics, including the region's economy, racial equity, transportation, housing, and climate change.

    Air quality in the National Capital Region shows improvement, based on an analysis completed by the Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee (MWAQC). According to a new analysis, the air quality trends indicate that the region is likely to meet the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) one-hour ozone standard by 2005.
