    Last night Fairfax County Chairman Sharon Bulova was honored with a Planning Award for her leadership in chairing the Greater Washington 2050 Coalition that developed Region Forward ! The National Capital Area Chapter of the American Planning Association awards presentation was held at the Naval Heritage Museum in Washington D.C. Xavier Briggs Associate Director of the White House Office of Budget Management gave remarks at the event.

The success of the program in the French capital quickly lead to other cities wanting to get in on the action.
