This April, the TPB will relaunch the Community Leadership Institute (CLI)—a three-session, interactive workshop that provides community leaders with tools to “think regionally and act locally” when getting involved in transportation decision-making. CLI is returning for the first time in five years with an updated curriculum that reflects changing mobility trends in the National Capital Region.
CLI is free and offers the opportunity for community leaders in the District of Columbia, suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia to understand how transportation decisions are made. Participants learn about roadway, transit, and alternative transportation; land use, economic growth, and the environment over the course of three evening sessions. By the end, participants will better understand how to connect their communities with broader planning efforts.
Upcoming CLI workshop dates
Tuesday, April 25: 5:30 – 9:00 P.M.
Tuesday, April 30: 5:30 – 9:00 P.M.
