Board Chair Kate Stewart reflects on COG's work in 2023

I’ve been involved with the Council of Governments for many years, though having had the chance to serve as Chair of its Board of Directors gives me a new appreciation for what this unique organization and its wide network of members can accomplish.

As we all know, regionalism isn’t always easy, especially in our complex region. But the benefits that it can yield are immense. Take a look at some of this year's biggest accomplishments:

There's no place that brings area leaders from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia together to focus on regional challenges and plan our future, other than COG.
