The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) invites your feedback on a draft application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant funds. PRO Housing funding supports communities which are actively taking steps to remove barriers to affordable housing.

COG is applying to HUD for funding to support activities that may remove barriers and increase the production of affordable housing in the metropolitan Washington region. Residents from the District of Columbia, suburban Maryland, and northern Virginia are encouraged to provide comments on the draft application package.

COG invites comments on the draft HUD PRO Housing Grant application. Submit comments through the form below by Tuesday, October 31, 2023, or register to speak at a virtual public hearing on the draft application, scheduled for October 23 at 6:30 PM.

Visit the COG PRO Housing page to view the application, submit a comment, or learn more about the public hearing.
