Jul 16, 2018

Anacostia Watershed Restoration Partnership (AWRP) Chairman and Prince George’s County Department of Environment Director Adam Ortiz, COG Department of Environmental Programs Director Steve Walz, and National Capital Parks - East Superintendent Tara Morrison joined NBC Washington's News 4 Your Sunday to talk about Year of the Anacostia (YOTA).

YOTA is a year-long campaign by the Anacostia Waterfront Trust, the National Park Service, the AWRP, and numerous private sector and community organizations. In addition to marking the 100 year anniversary of the creation of Anacostia Park by U.S. Congress, YOTA is an invitation to enjoy the Anacostia River and watershed and celebrate its progress.
