Subject:	Street Smart Fall Event Planning

Good afternoon all - 
Thanks today for everyone's input into planning the fall campaign. We'd like to begin working on 
this as soon as possible so we have plenty of time for coordinating efforts. As most of you know, 
we will be working with John Undeland and Emily Howard from Stratacomm on planning this 
event.

Below are a few dates/times for a preliminary planning meeting. Please review and let me know 
at least two dates that work for you:

Wednesday, 10/5: 10:00am, 11:00am or 2:00pm
Thursday, 10/6: 11:00am
Friday, 10/7: 11:30am

Also, just to recap a few points:

1. The event will be hosted by Montgomery County. Two possible locations were brought up: 
	•  16th Street Circle at MD/DC border - This location ties efforts of Montgomery County, 
SHA and DDOT together 
	    and promotes the border-to-border idea.
	•  Piney Branch Road - Montgomery County just received approval to install curb 
markings along the road.

2. Daylight Savings is November 6th so the event should ideally timed around close to then - 
possibly the 9th or 10th.
