This virtual town hall series from the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) and the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) brings together local government leaders to explore tools and strategies to help our communities emerge stronger, more resilient, and more focused on advancing racial equity in 2021.

Town Hall 3: A Whole Community Health Approach to Sustainable Community Development

Speakers present aspects of a roadmap for inclusive and sustainable community economic development, including policies and regulations governing the environment, land-use, housing, transportation, and development in what the speakers refer to as a “Whole Community Health Approach.” The goal of these strategies is to improve overall community health, prosperity, and resiliency moving forward.
