This professional development workshop is one of a series of workshops sponsored by the Bicycle and Pedestrian Subcommittee of the TPB Technical Committee. The primary audience is agency staff, particularly public works, planning and consultants. Speakers from DDOT, MDOT, and VDOT will present on their Strategic High Way Safety Plans and Vision Zero or Towards Zero Deaths policies. With the oldest Vision Zero Policy, DDOT will discuss what Vision Zero has meant in practice for its planning and operations. Speakers from the City of Alexandria and Montgomery County will discuss the development of their new Vision Zero policies.
