TLC Peer Exchange Network: Fill in the Gaps

Since 2007, the TLC Program has supported over 100 projects across the National Capital Region. Many of these projects have focused on bicycle and pedestrian projects to “fill in the gaps” in existing transportation networks. Projects have ranged from trail connections and Safe Routes to School, to place-making and low traffic stress network analysis. This seminar will give local planners a preview to ongoing bike/ped projects across the region and how planners have leveraged TLC support to advance these projects toward implementation. Attendees will get valuable lessons from their peer on finding funding sources like TLC, and managing projects from inception to implementation. Speakers will include planners from Arlington County, the Georgetown Business Improvement District, Fairfax County, Montgomery County, Takoma Park and WMATA.

Please RSVP for the event by December 5, 2016 at 1pm.
