Friday’s meeting of the Planning Directors will be conducted as a WEBINAR ONLY beginning at 10:00 a.m.  

• COG staff has been working with ULI Washington staff to finalize the criteria for the Activity Centers Technical Assistance Panels that were discussed during our October meeting.  Deborah Bilek of ULI Washington will briefly highlight the final application process and schedule for submittal.

• In addition, COG staff recently convened a second, small focus group of COG Board members to discuss the Activity Centers Strategic Development Plan, now titled “Place + Opportunity: Strategies for Creating Great Communities and a Stronger Region”.   Staff will brief the Committee on the revised draft and next steps in the process, including planned action by the COG Board in January. 

• Finally, Committee members will review the draft Round 8.3 Cooperative Forecasts.  The Planning Directors must approve the final draft Forecasts at the January meeting to ensure that they are approved by the COG Board in February for use in the upcoming Air Quality Conformity Analysis of the TIP and CLRP.
