Animal Services Annual Awards Ceremony

The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments' Animal Services Committee will host its Annual Animal Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 30, 2012 beginning at 9:00 AM to Noon here at 777 North Capitol Street, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20002 in the COG Boardroom.  The Committee holds this special event each year to say Thank You to the regional and local Animal Control Officers, Rescuers, Volunteers, and other dedicated Animal Service/Care Providers for their year-round and life-saving work in caring for the animals, animal owners, and Wildlife in their local communities.  Each year we look forward to this event and if you have anyone in mind who you believe should receive an award or be acknowledged for his or her dedication to the NCR Animal population, please let us or your local animal care and shelters know and nominate them.  REGISTRATION:  Tthis year we do request that all nominees and guests REGISTER for this illustrious event.  Registration instructions can be seen below.
