In lieu of the Cooperative Forecasting and Data Subcommittee meeting, a special presentation/training has been arranged with the U.S. Census Bureau. Dr. J. Trent Alexander, Chief of the Data Analysis and User Education Branch with the American Community Survey Office will be providing a general overview of the American Community Survey (ACS).

Topics will include: survey methodology, data products, differences between decennial data and ACS data, measures of sampling error, PUMS data, etc. etc.

Dr. Alexander will provide a one-hour presentation about the ACS with about thirty minutes of Q and A at the end.

The final minutes of the meeting, COG staff would like to lead a discussion on what type of reports and products will be developed based on the release of Census 2010 and the ACS data.
