The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) will be hosting a roundtable discussion on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) on next year’s redistricting process occurring in most jurisdictions in the Washington region. A number of jurisdictions are in the beginning stages of creating internal committees to plan and execute this process. This will be a good opportunity  to discuss “best practices” about process and share feedback relating to vendor products (redistricting tools) and selection process.

Cathy McCully from the Census Redistricting Data Office will present at the beginning of the meeting.
