How Can We Get There?
Looking At Transportation Options For Southern Prince George’s County
A Public Meeting Hosted by the Citizens Advisory Committee to the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board
Southern Prince George’s County can expect a lot of change in the coming decades. How will the transportation system keep pace? On the evening of October 1, citizens will have the chance to talk with decision makers about the forth-coming update to the Prince George’s Transportation Master Plan. How do you think the county should meet transportation challenges now and in the future? Do you want light rail? Widened roads? More buses? Rail on the Wilson Bridge?
The session will be moderated by County Council Chairman Peter Shapiro and will feature a presentation by Eric Foster of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. We’ll also hear from County Councilmembers Tony Knotts and Marilynn Bland (invited).
The meeting will be hosted by the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) to the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.
