The 2003 Green Infrastructure Forum series continues on May 6, 2003 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Council of Governments with an exciting presentation on "Metropolitan Park Systems". 

Patricia Gallagher, Executive Director of the National Capital Planning  Commission (NCPC) will describe her park and open space planning experience in the Washington, DC region as well as her past green infrastructure work in the City of Chicago.

Brian O'Neill, the Acting Associate Director for Partnerships from the National Park Service will share his philosophy on park and open space  partnerships and work that he has done at the Golden Gate National  Recreation Area in San Francisco, California.

This forum is another real-world example of the power of partnerships in creating and sustaining a metropolitan park, open space and recreation system.  We hope that you can join us!
