Led by COG, DMV Climate Partners is a group of local government partners committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and creating more resilient communities across the District of Columbia, suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia, or DMV.
The DMV Climate Partners website, climatepartners.org, is a platform to educate area leaders and residents about local, regional, national, and international efforts underway to fight climate change and spur further action. DMV Climate Partners also highlights climate accomplishments and connects people to valuable resources.
Through COG, the region has set ambitious and essential goals on climate and resiliency, and continues to work toward them. Collectively, the region has made major strides on solar, energy efficiency, electric vehicles, and more. There is more work to be done. DMV Climate Partners helps educate about the challenges—and opportunities—ahead.
