    Bus Lane Enforcement Study

    The National Capital Regional Transportation Planning Board (TPB), in coordination with WMATA, commissioned the Bus Lane Enforcement Study to research, identify, and develop strategies to improve observance with and enforcement of bus lanes in TPB jurisdictions.

    Air Quality Conformity Analysis of the 2016 CLRP Amendment and the FY 2017-2022 TIP

    This report documents the assessment of the 2016 Amendment to the CLRP and the FY 2017-2022 TIP with respect to air quality conformity requirements under the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments. The analysis used criteria and procedures contained in the Environmental Protection Agency's final conformity rule, published in the November 24, 1993 Federal Register, with subsequent amendments and additional federal guidance published by EPA and by the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration. The analysis is a responsibility of the Transportation Planning Board.

    Washington DC-MD-VA 2008 Ozone NAAQS Marginal Nonattainment Area Redesignation Request and Maintenance Plan

    The District of Columbia, the State of Maryland, and the Commonwealth of Virginia request that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) redesignate the Washington DC-MD-VA 2008 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) marginal nonattainment are to attainment for this standard pursuant to the provisions under ยง 107 of the federal Clean Air Act (CAA).

    Performance-Based Planning and Programming: Regional System Performance Targets

    FY 2019-2024 Transportation Improvement Program

    The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a 6-year financial program that describes the schedule for obligating federal funds to state and local projects. The TIP contains funding information for all modes of transportation including highways and HOV as well as transit capital and operating costs. State, regional and local transportation agencies update the program every two years to reflect priority projects in the Visualize 2045 long-range plan.
