Summary

The report provides annual compilation and analysis of alcohol and drug-related traffic fatalities, arrests, crashes, and injuries in the metropolitan Washington region.

The report is prepared by COG for Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP). Data compiled in this report comes from national, state, and local sources including the U.S. Census Bureau, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), National Park Police, and Virginia and Maryland Departments of Transportation. Primary data was collected from the local police departments of each jurisdiction.
