Health & Medical RPWG

The H&MRPWG serves as an advisory committee to the SPG to provide recommendations, subject matter expertise and overall guidance for the public health and medical services projects that are implemented utilizing UASI funding. In conjunction with the NCR State Administrative Agency Program Management Office (SAA PMO) the H&MRPWG is responsible for ensuring that the program plan and projects are meeting the regional goals and objectives as defined by the SPG. H&MRPWG is also responsible for UASI funded strategic initiatives within their respective preparedness focus area.

This group also serves as the ESF 8 Subcommittee to the Health Officials to provide recommendations, subject matter expertise and overall guidance for emergency preparedness issues not associated with UASI projects and initiatives. This group works with the Council of Governments to coordinate with other regional committees working on emergency preparedness issues and handle those deliverables regarding ESF 8 operations within the NCR as delegated to them by the Health Officials Committee.
