The region will add more than one million people and jobs over the next 25 years according to the most recent draft of forecasts jointly developed by COG and area governments. The forecasts are used to inform planners and decision-makers as they prepare for the region's continued growth. Alexandria Councilmember Tim Lovain, who serves as Vice Chairman of the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board, and COG Executive Director Chuck Bean discussed the forecasts and regional growth as guests on NewsTalk with Bruce DePuyt on News Channel 8 on March 25.
