Area water leaders celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the Safe Water Drinking Act in Downtown Washington, D.C. last week at the Toast to Tap event sponsored by the COG Community Engagement Campaign.  DC Water General Manager George Hawkins led the ceremonial toast along with utilities from across the region, serving fresh, cool tap at Fairfax Water’s Water Bar.
