COG Board Supports Efforts to Clean Potomac

At its November meeting the COG Board adopted a resolution to reaffirm support for the goal of achieving a Trash-Free Potomac River by 2013. The Board endorsed the Alice Ferguson Foundation's plan to convene a Trash Summit, and to develop a Trash-Free Potomac Strategy. COG Board will be encouraging members to actively participate in these events and provide support to the public education campaign for the Trash-Free Potomac initiative.
